15TH ANNUAL INDIAFEST IN WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

IndiaFEST 2018 Promises One-of-a-kind Cultural Experience

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – 02-01-2018 (Press Release Jet) — The Palm Beach India Association will present its 15th annual IndiaFEST on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Meyer Amphitheater in downtown West Palm Beach. Each year, this premier event brings the cultural diversity and richness of India’s heritage to the South Florida community.

The festival is FREE and will feature a full day of dance and music performances, food, crafts, Henna tattoos and more.Guests will enjoy an array of traditional dances including Bhangra, Kathak, Garba and various other dances from different regions of India.There will be a special performance by Rex D’Souza, finalist at the FAME GURUKUL, a popular TV show in India. He has also recorded songs for Bollywood films.Between performances you can check out the many booths of jewelry, clothing, arts, crafts and sculptures. Everyone will want to indulge in the mouth-watering delicacies of the finest Indian cuisine from many different regions of India.

IndiaFEST also offers students a chance to demonstrate their writing skills and knowledge of India, competing for cash prizes of up to $400 in the annual essay contest. The contest is open to students in South Florida schools grades 1 through 12. Contest rules may be found on the IndiaFEST website at www.sfindiafest.org.
